 Prof. Dr. drg. Elza Ibrahim M.Biomed.

 

Beliau merupakan salah satu guru besar dari Departemen Biologi Oral yang lahir di Jakarta pada tanggal 12 Februari 1954. Beliau meyelesaikan Studi Pendidikan Dokter Gigi pada tahun 1978 lau melanjutkan studi di Tokyo Medical and Dental University Pharmacology Tokyo dan menyelesaikannya pada tahun 1986. Studi Pasca Sarjana UI Ilmu Biomedik Jakarta dapat beliau selesaikan pada tahun 1996. Beliau melanjutkan studi kembali di FKG UI mengambil jurusan Ilmu Kedokteran Gigi dan menyelesaikannya pada tahun 2004. Kursus atau pelatihan yang pernah beliau ikuti, antara lain 1st disaster victim identification course in foren, Microarray Techniques: Applications in Biomedical, Disaster victim identification course in forensic, National Seminar & Workshop for copyright awarene, Pelatihan Pengelolaan dan Penyuntingan Jurnal Ilmi, Workshop on Molecular Technique, Course on Advanced Cell Culture, Course on Basic Cell Culture, Pelatihan Identifikasi Forensik Korban Bencana Massal.

Ketertarikannya di  bidang forensic kedokteran gigi dapat dibuktikan dengan penghargaan Piagam Penghargaan Identifikasi Forensik pada tahun 2004 yang beliau terima.
