Harmonic distortions have correlation to the happening of inefficiency in usage electrics energy. In the effort overcoming the inefficiency, needed by harmonic distortion overcome stages. Filter liability used to permeate harmonic current coming from non- linier load. There are two passive filter types, which are series filter and parallel filter. Parallel Filter have advantage than series filter, energy supply can reactive at fundamental frequency. Parallel Filter which is most commonly used by single tuned filter and filter damped, because simplest in it's and cheapest for the implementation of. Passive Filter type which used in this research is single tuned filter. Which consist of series network of resistor component, inductor, and capacitor which designed for the resonance of certain frequency. The Object from this research is an electricity system owning average THD current equal to 17,22 % (phase 1), 21,95 % (phase 2), 22,15 % (phase 3) and average THD voltage equal to 2,72 % (phase 1

Abstract-High voltage electrical equipment has the potential to cause corona phenomenon. Corona activity in high-voltage switchgear is the main source of degradation and ultimate failure of insulation. Failure of insulating components on switchgear is a problem many utilities have. Statistics indicating that electrical insulation deterioration causes up to 90% of electrical failures of certain high voltage equipment. In order to avoid electrical failure on high-voltage switchgear, routine corona inspection is needed. One simple method to detect corona activity is by listen its sound. Corona noise can be described as crackling or hissing sounds. Usually high-voltage switchgear is totally enclosed, therefore special equipment is needed to perform corona inspection. Stethoscope attached to switchgear body can be use to help detecting corona sound on enclosed switchgear. This paper describes about corona acoustic frequencies and spectral analysis from the sound produced inside switchgear.
