dr. Dewi is currently as the Head of Histology Department, Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Indonesia, since 2022. She obtained her PhD from Juntendo University, School of Medicine, Tokyo Japan in 2015 (2011 - 2015). She was a research student in Department of Cardiology, Juntendo University, School of Medicine, Tokyo Japan from October 2009 - 2011. Her main major is including Histology, angiogenesis, endothelial progenitor cells in diabetic, stem cells and basic molecular of cardiovascular disease. She is currently also an active researcher in Stem Cell and Tissue Engineering (SCTE) laboratory of IMERI-FMUI.

She serves as the reviewer at the several national journals, including Malang Neurology Journal, Medical and Health Science Journal of UNUSA and Medical Journal of UNRAM.
