Prof. Dr. Dody Prayogo, MPSt

Dody Prayogo studied Sociology at the University of Indonesia from 1984-1989 and gained his bachelor degree from that university. In 1996, he finished his Master of Planning Studies Degree at the University of Queensland, Australia, and in 2007 obtained Doctoral Degree in sociology from University of Indonesia

He joined University of Indonesia, as a lecturer, in 1990. Currently, his field of study is Sociology of Environment. Besides being a lecturer, Dody Prayogo conducts various researches. Some of them are Research on Social Feasibility of Palm Oil Estate Development , Papua,  Research on the Development of Public Relation, PT Berau Coal and Study on Ethnic Conflict in Central Kalimantan, LabSosio-UNDP. He also becomes a trainer in various places such as CSR Training for Executives of PT Banpu Public Company and Training for CSR Managers, BP Migas.

Dody Prayogo  has published many of his scientific writings. His publications are concerning  around social phenomena like conflict and sociology politic. He is also actively joining some organizations like becomes the Member of Environmental (social) Impact Assessment (Amdal) at MenLH and Indonesian Sociological Association.
