Profile

Lukas Sihombing is an expert in Public-Private Partnership (PPP) in infrastructure, project management, project finance and financial model in infrastructure, risk management (project & corporate), macro & microeconomics, and system dynamics. He earned his Doctorate in Civil Engineering (Project Management concentration) from the Universitas Indonesia (2018) and Master in Civil Engineering (Project Management concentration) from the Universitas Indonesia (2005) and Bachelor of Civil Engineering from the University of Hasanuddin (1991). Lukas is lecturing at post-graduate studies at Faculty of Economics and Business of Universitas Indonesia. He has more than 28 years of professional experience in construction and engineering management of large-scale projects, including harbor toll roads, and integrated transportation systems all over Indonesia.

Lukas has earned ANZISM – Sustainability Management Award 2018 at Research Category, 24 October 2018, entitled: Developing infrastructure Financing Sustainability with Hybrid of Deep Discount Project Bonds and land Leases.

Lukas has been active in professional organizations. Currently, he is the Vice President of the Indonesian Society of Project Management Professional for Certification (2013-present). He is also a Board Member for membership of Asia Pacific Federation of Project Management (APFPM), and member of various organizations including System Dynamics Society, American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE), Project Management Institute, American Association of Cost Engineering, and Australian Institute of Project Management (AIPM). He also serves as a reviewer as well as a writer of various and international conferences.
