Biography

Dr. Irandi Putra Pratomo, Ph.D, Sp.P, FAPSR is an expert in pulmonology and respiratory medicine, and a big data scientist.

Dr. Irandi mainly works as a lecturer and a researcher at the Department of Pulmonology and Respiratory Medicine, Faculty of Medicine Universitas Indonesia - Universitas Indonesia Hospital and the Indonesian Medical Education and Research Institute (IMERI).

Dr. Irandi also works as a clinical pulmonologist at Tarakan Regional General Hospital Jakarta and Medika Permata Hijau Hospital Jakarta.

Dr. Irandi completed his medical doctor and pulmonologist degree from the Faculty of Medicine Universitas Indonesia, and his doctoral degree from Hiroshima University, Japan, where he studied bioinformatics in bacterial genome analysis.

Dr. Irandi is a member of numerous prestigious professional organizations, such as the American Thoracic Society (ATS), the Asian Pacific Society of Respirology (APSR), and the European Respiratory Society (ERS). He is also an active member of the Indonesian Society of Respirology (ISR), where he belongs to the Educational Development Commission of the Indonesian College of Pulmonology and Respiratory Medicine and the editorial board of Jurnal Respirologi Indonesia (JRI).
