Ghiska Ramahdita, S.T., M.T., M.Sc. adalah dosen di Departemen Teknik Metalurgi & Material Fakultas Teknik Universitas Indonesia. Lahir di Jakarta pada 28 Agustus 1991, beliau meraih gelar sarjana Teknik Metalurgi dan Material di FTUI pada tahun 2011. Beliau menyelesaikan pendidikan S-2 pada bidang yang sama pada tahun 2013 melalui program Double Degree Indonesia-Prancis (DDIP) di Universitas Indonesia (Teknik Metalurgi dan Material) dan Institut national des sciences appliquées (INSA) de Lyon - France ( Innovative Materials). Saat ini beliau sedang mempersiapkan studi S3/Ph.D-nya di bidang pengembangan material untuk teknik biomedis (biomedical materials).

Karir mengajarnya dimulai sejak tahun 2014. Hingga saat ini, beliau masih aktif mengajar di Departemen Teknik Metalurgi dan Material. Mata kuliah beliau ajarkan antara lain Pengantar Material Teknik, Kimia Polimer, Teknologi Produk Polimer, Teknologi Keramik, Material Komposit, Teknologi Daur Ulang Plastik, Material Lanjut serta Biomaterial.

Beliau juga aktif menulis publikasi ilmiah. Beberapa publikasi ilmiah yang beliau hasilkan antara lain The Nanocrystallinity Enhancement and Optical Characteristics of Pre-Hydrothermally Treated ZnO Nanoparticles, Preparation and Characterization for Sorgum-Based Micro-Fibrillated Celluloses, The Effect of Hydroxyapatite Addition on the Mechanical Properties of Polyvinyl Alcohol/Chitosan-Hydroxyapatite Biomaterial for Bone Scaffolds Application, dan The Optimization of Hydroxyapatite/Chitosan Biomaterial via Chemical Synthesis for Bone Scaffolds Application .


Ghiska Ramahdita, who was born in Jakarta, August 28th 1991, obtained her B.Eng. with cumlaude predicate from Metallurgical and Materials Engineering Universitas Indonesia in 2011. She was then continued her study through double degree program at Universitas Indonesia - Metallurgical and Materials Engineering and Institut National des Sciences Appliquées (INSA) de Lyon - France - Innovative Materials. Her thesis was "Design and Fabrication of Real-Time In-Situ Reactor for X-Ray Diffraction to Monitor Calcium Phosphate Transformation" as the result of her internship project in France. Currently she is in preparation to her PhD study in materials development for biomedical engineering.

Upon her completion of masters' study, she joined the department in 2014 as a junior lecturer and researcher in Advanced Materials research group. As a junior lecturer, she shows her capability in teaching basic courses i.e. calculus, electrochemistry, physical metallurgy and polymer chemistry, as well as the advanced subjects such as composite technology, ceramics technology, polymer technology and biomaterials.

In term of research, her main field of interest is the development of biodegradable biomaterials, such as polymer– and hydroxyapatite-based scaffold, especially for biomedical application, which some of her works were presented in conferences and published in scientific articles. As a researcher, she is very keen on collaborative research which further brings her to join Research Center for Biomedical Engineering Universitas Indonesia (RCBE-UI). In her young age, she has 20 Scopus-indexed publications with h-index 4.

Aside of that, she is highly capable in building a system and managing her team, so that she is assigned as the editor-in-chief for RCBE-UI's annual symposium named International Symposium on Biomedical Engineering (ISBE) since 2017. She also loves to contribute to international program/ event, such as South East Asian Games (SEA Games), ASIAN GAMES, international expo and conferences, e.g. Quality in Research (QiR) and International Symposium on Biomedical Engineering (ISBE).
