Abstract - In the implementation of three phase induction motor, motor speed information is required for controlling speed. Motor speed can be measured by speed sensor, but the sensor has limited resolution, especially at very low and very high speed, beside the fact that the price is expensive. For those reasons, another method is required to estimate the motor speed instead the speed sensor. This paper discussed about design and simulation of rotor speed estimation in three phase induction motor, speed sensorless by an observer in rotor reference frame. This observer is used to estimate stator current and rotor flux which then used in rotor speed estimation. From the simulation result, this method can be used to estimate rotor speed in three phase induction motor speed sensorless. The best observer gain constant is k=0,9. Abstract The Observer is used to estimate three-phase induction motor speed sensorless, usually in alfa-beta axis, in this situation an extra transformation is needed to add compensator because the flux model is laid in dq-axis. In this paper, a new method to estimate the speed of induction motor drive with observer laid in dq-axis is proposed. The actual motor model used alfa-beta axis, but the observer use the motor models in rotor flux oriented control -RFOC, and also the different models of motor drives that be able to used between the actual and estimated one. The simulation results in C-MEX S-function Matlab/Simulink 6.5 show that full order observer gives better performance and in much better than reduced order observer. Abstract- This Paper presents an application of Simple Adaptive Control (SAC) using Artificial Neural Network (ANN) for a current vector control of induction motor. The control input is given by the sum of the output of SAC and the output of ANN. The ANN is used to compensate the nonlinearity of the plant dynamics that is not taken into consideration in the linear SAC. Using this control method, there is no need to synthesized any decoupler for eliminating the interaction between control inputs. The simulation results of proposed method are compared to the conventional one that used PI controller with decoupler. Index term- simple adaptive control, artificial neural network, induction motor, vector control, decoupler, nonlinear system.

Abstrak- Makalah ini membahas identifikasi model Hammerstein pada sistem tangki terhubung. Struktur jaringan radial basis function digunakan untuk merepresentasikan bagian nonlinier statis model Hammerstein. Jumlah node, parameter pusat, dan variansi fungsi Gaussian dioptimasi dengan menggunakan algoritma genetika. Bagian dinamis model Hammerstein diwakili oleh model autoregressive exogenous (ARX), dimana nilai parameter model ARX diestimasi dengan menggunakan algoritma least squares. Struktur model dinamis ARX ditentukan berdasarkan a priori knowledge. Indikator kesesuaian terbaik antara model dengan sistem tangki terhubung ditentukan oleh parameter Akaike information criterion (AIC). Dari hasil uji eksperimen menunjukkan bahwa model Hammerstein yang diperoleh dapat mewakili karakteristik nonlinier sistem tangki terhubung dengan baik.
