Prof. Dr. Ir. Widodo Wahyu Purwanto, DEA.

Widodo Wahyu Purwanto is a lecturer of Chemical Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, University of Indonesia since 1985.He was born on November 11 1960. In 1993 he became a Deputy Director for Research and Science, Joint Research Program between PERTAMINA and University of Indonesia on Natural Gas Conversion, Dept of Gas and Petrochemical. Eng., Faculty of Engineering., UI and became a Head of Chemical Reaction Engineering & Natural Gas Conversion Lab., Dept of Gas and Petrochemical Eng., Faculty of Engineering, UI. In 1997 a Head of Chemical Reaction Engineering Group, Dept. of Gas and Petrochemical Eng., Faculty of Engineering, UI. In 2000, he became an Executive Director of SUB-QUE Project Batch III, Chemical Engineering Study Program-UI, Ministry of National Education–World Bank. In 2004, he became a Head of Sustainable Energy Research Group, Dept. Gas and Petrochemical Eng. FTUI. In 2007, he became a Head of Chemical Engineering Department and Full Professor - Faculty of Engineering UI (Sustainable Energy). He graduated with a BSc in Chemical Engineering from ITS. He gained a Master also in Chemical Engineering from Ecole National Superieur d’Engineurs de Genie Chimique (ENSIGC), Institut National Polytechnique de Toulouse (INP Toulouse), France,. He hold a doctoral programme in Process Engineering from ENSIGC, INP Toulouse, France. He is teaching many chemical engineering's subject such as suistanable energy and product&plant design.
